Milna is the largest village on the west coast of the island Brač. It developed in the beginning of the 17 century, it was the most important port on Brač by the end of the 20th century. There are a number of very developed bays. A large number of population deal with growing olives and fishing. It is settled in a very good position in the deep of the bay where there is no strong wind, it is perfect shelter for the boats during the storms. Milna is naturally on the sea, and it is known for shipowners and captains whose ships sailed the Mediterranean sea and large oceans.
